Brief: Hey Harry Type Installation
The brief here was to set the text "Hey Harry!" appropriately. My solution was based on the sense of sound and height in the text. In the storyline we
see Harry walking along a street in New York and hearing his name being called from above and I wanted the reader of my text to be looking up to the
words, as Harry would have been looking up to the voices from above. The installation was hung from the ceiling above head height so the reader had
to look up to read.
The author paints a bleak life for Harry so I wanted to convey this by using a monotone colour palette. There was also a great
sense of pace in the section I decided to visualise, so to communicate this I used different typefaces for words next to each other.
